Care Guide

Each piece is made from natural materials that will last for years with proper care. Here are our recommendations for each material type.

Pandanus (Bags, Purses, Fans, Trays)

  • Keep dry and out of direct sunlight
  • Store flat or stuffed with acid-free tissue
  • Dust gently with a soft dry cloth
  • Avoid folding or crushing woven pieces

Wood (Bowls, Trays, Carvings)

  • Oil occasionally with food-safe wood oil
  • Keep away from direct heat and sunlight
  • Dust with a soft dry cloth
  • Minor cracks are natural and add character

Shell (Jewellery, Shell-Money Pieces)

  • Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth
  • Store separately to avoid scratching
  • Avoid contact with perfume or chemicals
  • Keep away from prolonged moisture

Bush Twine (Kusa, Trays)

  • Keep dry or wipe away moisture as soon as possible.
  • Dust trays with a damp cloth or keep covered when not in use.
  • It is safe to put hot or cold items on the trays — they will not warp.
